I have a 1990 240 wagon. My cruise control will not work. I did the following after visiting some junk yards. I replaced the servo at the brake, checked the adjuster at the brake pedal, checked the vacuum pump under the hood (it is creating a vacuum), checked all of the vacuum line for cracks, etc. Put in another Kombi control under the dash. Put in another contron (brain) box behind the speedo cluster, checked the sending unit cable from the rear end. changed the whole speedo cluster, changed the cruise set speed lever on the steering column. The taillights are working and I bought 2 new brake lamp bulbs from Volvo for $8 and installed them. As far as I can tell the tailgate wireing works. I have not checked the IC chip in the speedo cluster as of yet, I don't know how And talked to 2 or 3 mechanics. I still don't have cruise. I am open to any help. Thanks
