headliner removal/installation 700

We got the headliner out of our 744gle, and it got cracked in a few places. What is the best way to repair this stuff? Would normal fiberglass boat repair stuff work? And how do we get the thing back in, because we took the thing out in 3 section after the thing broke by the sunroof area, and we cut it before any more damage could happen. Is the best way to elevate one side of the car, then slide it in diagonally through the front door? Is it easier to put the thing in without the seats in the car? And it would be VERY helpful if someone had some pictures of the headliner coming into the car... not just the crappy IPD instructions.
