Just got the full suspension treatment for my car - Bilstein Touring Class shocks, IPD sport springs, and IPD 25/22 sway bars, I had all the components installed by my independent volvo mechanic while I waited at home. The car handles flat and quick in the turns and on-ramps and very smooth on the highway. However, when I hit dips in the highway the car feels like it is bouncing high through those dips, and it feels bouncy through little bumps and dips in the roads. Also, I noticed that if I press down on the front driver's side corner (corner of hood) of the car it gives out a little creak sound but does not on the passenger side. So what is causing this bouncy ride? Is it just a new suspension that needs to settle down? Or should I go back to my mechanic? Also, is there a way to physically view the front shocks without taking them apart since they are covered with that plastic sleeve?
Thanks.
John
