I was talking to my fellow car buddy today and he told me a rather interesting thing I can do to increase the engine power of my car. According to him, you can remove the fan off the front of the engine to increase engine power! Apparently by removing the fan, the engine has less resistance from the fan blades and such. He had done it to his '91 Nissan 240 SX and reported no malfunctions or problems and a increase in engine power. How much of an increase he didnt say. But basically I was curious if this was true. Does removing the engine fan off my '90 Volvo 740 really increase power?
