Greetings:
I want to replace my reservoir. It has oily light brown sediment on the inside of it. My question is does the unit pop right out of the base of the master cylinder, and if so, could I simply do such a replacement with out allowing air into the system? In addition, I have replaced my rear passenger caliper. For the first 150 miles or so the brake pedal pressure was low but stopped the vehicle. Now after 200 plus miles the pressure is a lot better, I have no leakage of any kind. It seems as though the brake pads have seated themselves much better. Should I still bleed the system? During the replacement I simply disconnected the old caliper and connected the new caliper, how much air if any could have gotten into the system?
Thanks in advance.
