Service light on Dash 900 1992

I have recently bought a 1992 960 (964) (June 2002 , 211,500KMS)
After having read as much as I can dissolve and absorb from the Board, I immediately had timing belt, Oil and Flame trap changed. My question to the Board is. I now have 215,500 Kms and the engine service light comes on at startup and stays on for about 3/5 minutes and then goes out. Is it possible that I need an oil change already? or is there something else that needs tending to. This car is a pleasure to drive and has plenty of power. I am still amazed at the passing power this car has on the highway. (even at 140kph, there still seems to be so much more in reserve) This car was purchased for the wife and she could not be happier, but of course anything that needs to be done is brought to my attention.

Trans fluid was changed @ 192K
Engine coolant and water pump @ 199K
Timing belt @ 155K ( replaced immed after purchase @211K )
Engine Oil and Bolt ( " " " " " )

Thanks for taking the time to read and looking forward to any suggestions.
