No start AIC? 200

I have a no-start problem, and have yet to track anything down. I have been told to clean the AIC, I will try this(seems like a good idea anyway), but do I need a gasket or anything in particular.

On a side note, I pulled 2 injectors, will they NOT function if I crank the car with them out? Because I got no fuel from them, but did at the top of the fuel distributor.

Thanks, still confused and frustrated stuck on a rock in the middle(not literally) of the Atlantic... MD
