87 door on an 84? 200

I am replacing the bottomless passenger door on my 84 with pristine door from an 87, but I have discovered that Volvo put holes in the stupid door for the lower trim. My turbo does not have any trim on the bottom of the doors. Any ideas on how to cover these up without using body fill? I hate body filler, thats why I got a new door in the first place.
