Ding ding from hell!!! 200 1986

I have a 86 4 door sedan 240 DL. Bought it a month ago and everything worked except for the alternatore and there was a lot of rust. We changed the floors and all so no more rust then we changed the non-working alternator to another used but working one. The problem is I have no more lights neither in front or rear, i don't even have brake lights all it does when i turn on the lights is ding ding ding ding... That sound i gonna make me crazy!! Someone help me because this is a great car and I don't want to start to hate it only because of an electrical problem. (o: Thanks
