240 turbo brake calipers on 164 vented brakes 140-160

Hey all.
Has anyone put 240 turbo brake calipers on a 164 with vented
front brakes? The stock calipers seem like the brake pad is kinda
small relative to the 140 / early 164 pads. Ideally I'd like to
have the vented brakes and also big honking brake pads and the 240
calipers seem like the ticket.

It looks like there are a couple of modifications one would have
to make to the calipers in the form of filing some ridges to make
the caliper clear the rotor and the bolt holes would have to be
made larger by a tiny amount, but otherwise it looks like everything
should fit.

Have I just been smoking too much brake fluid?
