steering rack rebuild 200

Does anyone have experience with rebuilding steering racks on 245 cars? Mine has 80000 miles on it and is leaking. Doesn't seem to be any play in it so I'm thinking new seals may be all I need. Any special tools required? Do you think it is worth the trouble to save about $200?
