Taillight Troubles 200

Trying to repair my taillights on my 85 sedan. I am quite confused.

Turn signal okay, rear fog okay.

I don't know which lens is for the taillight, which for the brake light.

I don't know which wire is for which light, I must admit to being poor at reading diagrams.

Should there be any 2 element bulbs?

I have no reverse lights.

There is a blank spot in the taillight (upper center) what's that for?

Sorry for the length, just don't want to get rear ended.
