is this normal? what i hit a bump, it seems to toss the whole car up, especially scary when i'm on a curve and i hit a bump. it feels like the car catches a centimeter or two of air and slips a bit before catching again when it lands. i realize the suspension is fairly stiff (it's KYB Gas-A-Just in the rear, and KYB some-sort-of-struts in the front)
the shocks and struts are definitely still good, so i'm wondering if this is just how a car behaves when the suspension is stiffer. it's always been like this as far as i recall, but now i'm wondering if that's abnormal or not. if it's not normal, what could be the cause of this? worn springs? bushings? etc.?
i've been meaning to put new bushings in. per recommendation, i will eventually do the following:
8 sway bar link bushings
lower ball joints
outer tie rods
conical strut rod bushings (2 per side)
thanks.
