Which type of fuel? 200 1987

Hi all,

I took my 240 into the workshop a few days ago because of start problems ( starts and then cuts out almost immediately ), as well recurring idle speed control motor problems.

The mechanic thought that maybe its the fuel injectors. But testing revealed that it might actually be due to me using unleaded fuel and that this model should really be using premium unleaded. So I'll empty the current tank full and replace with premium a few times before taking it back for final tuning.

The question is, what does the manual say about what type of fuel is most suitable for the 1987 240?
