I nearly ran out of gas the afternoon previous to my fuel problem. The needle was nearly buried and I put in 14.6 gallons. The fuel gauge didn't function for several hours, but in the morning read full.
Would nearly draining the tank empty have cause a reaction. Filter clogged, filter sock clogged in tank? If I pull off the hose to the fuel pressure regulator and turn the key to on, will fuel spray out. Should it spray out after the pre-pump runs and I start cranking? Want to see if the pressure reg. is bad, or if the main is bad (since I can hear the pre-pump run), or ......electrial?
Thanks again everybody
