Maybe it's because I've been listening for them more recently, but it seems like my fuel injectors are starting to sound louder and louder. At first I thought it was lifter noise, but then I put my finger on a couple of injectors and could feel the pulse in time with the sound.

Is this normal? The car runs smooth as silk (93 945t) but when you give it gas you can really hear those things pumping. And the hood insulation is good - it pretty much dampens all the other engine noise.

I think you can hear them more once the car has warmed up, but it could be my imagination.

Any suggestions?
