A friend's Dad has an 89 740 turbo wagon, which is in nice shape, but presently parked at a local shop in a "no start" state. The shop doesn't seem very knowledgable/interested in making it run, but has offered a small amount to "take it off his hands". Anyone have a good independant mechanic in the State College, PA area? Also, what is a rust free, 240k wagon with a working turbo worth.(assuming that the no start situation isn't terminal) This car just passed emission with flying colours.
