Hi,
My 245 has no rear bumper cover, and hasn't for as long as I've owned it. Now I'm thinking about getting a bumper cover for it so that it looks less crappy than it does now.
Questions:
a) Is there a method to minimize breakage/damage as you take a bumper from a donor car? I've seen some nice looking bumper covers at the pick-n-pull, but am not sure what th best way to remove them is. I'm tempted to just peel the bumper cover off, but somehow I don't think that's the way to go.
b) Do I have to take the bumper cover from a wagon, or can I pull it from a sedan?
c) What's the reinstall process like? Specifically, are there any special tools, clips, adhesives etc. needed to securely install the bumper cover on to my wagon?
Any specific, detailed info on this is appreciated. It seems like kind of an annoying job with lots of possibility to ruin the part as it's being removed from the donor car.
Thanks,
Susan
