Engine will turn over, but will not start. Has spark. The fuel pumps do not run when I crank the engine, but both are turned on when I place a jumper wire between terminals 30 and 87/2 in the fuel pump relay base. A replacement relay didn't solve the problem; there is no response from the fuel pump with the new relay installed. So, the problem does not seem to be the pumps or the relays. I am reading about the electrical tests for the ECU of LH2.4 fuel injection in the Bentley manual. Am I headed in the right direction? Anything else I should be testing? Advice appreciated. This is my wife's car, and I need to get it running again. The fix is taking longer than I expected.
