Modifying your own ecu 700 1986

Is it possible to add a resistor or something into the ecu to change the timing and increase the power output? This ebay auction caught my eye http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1859002692 . Linking attempt . I suppose you could mess with the air sensor to get the same effect that the auction claims. I'm sure I don't need the instructions the guy is selling if someone knows where to put the resistor.
Any ideas on how to do this myself?
