Best price for Alternator? 200

My alternator was giving the scraping-sound-of-death this morning at startup. To my ears it sounded like a bearing failure, and with 130k on it, I'm not surprised. Who's got the best prices for a rebuilt 1988 240 Alternator these days? I know it ain't IPD :/. Also, what's the typical lifespan of these? Am I lucky? The only other alternators I've had to replace are the one in my 2.5L Monza (165k, no brushes left) and my 2.8L Camaro (95k, bearing frozen). What is the typical mode of failure?
