Fast Idle 91 240 200

My 91 240 wouldn't idle, and if it did it idled too slowly. I took the throttle body off, cleaned it (a lot of crud) and reinstalled it with a new gasket. Now it idles about 1500 RPM (no tach, just guessing). I disconnected the throttle linkage and backed the idle adjustment screw completely off, no change. The micro switch is operating. Any suggestions?
