1992 745T engine cuts out while driving 700 1992

Okay, I thought I had this fixed a couple of months ago. While driving the, usually on the highway, the engine cuts out. The tach drops to zero, and will bounce up and down while the engine ties to decide if it wants to start. I do not believe it is fuel - mainly based on the tach response.

I replaced the RPM sensor a few months back, and the intermittent problem went away.

The car has 150K on it and it is an automatic. What else can I look at? Most of the 700 FAQ pointed to the RPM sensor.

Thanks,

Bill
