No start 200 1993

Hi all,
Yesterday when leaving work I tried starting the car but did not leave it turned over long enough for it to start. I tried it again and it made a funny sound (I think). Anyway I could tell it didn't feel right. I took the key out of the ignition, put it back in and it started fine. It started again last night when I went to the grocery store ... no problems. This morning it wouldn't start. It wouldn't even turn over. I heard clicking, it will shift form park to drive, etc. I had to take my wife's '91 to get to work on time so I haven't had time to check fuses or anything. Any thoughts?
