Hello fellow volvophiles. Just wanted to introduce myself.

Car: Light Blue 84 244DL
Engine: B23f (in pieces), trashed old a/c (all parts out), polished/refinished
all metal brackets & brightwork, including intake manifold (took me 6
months of wet sanding)
Miles: 150xxx
Interior: Navy Velour (cleaner than a hospital) & in unreal orig. cond.
Exterior: True & Straight w/ shotgun rust on the street (driver) side.
Underbody, engine bay, etc... degreased and steamed. Stock steel
wheels, GL grill (I hate it), just a basic DL.
Mods: Have parts, but not in yet; K&N, VX cam & adj. sprocket. B&M oil cooler,
compl. gaskets & seals, new wiring harness, new p/s pump, p/s bracket of
a non a/c '83, a box of relevant parts for engine (hoses, sensors,
etc...), 3 row radiator (like the Volvo alum. better), modified airbox w/
homemade ram-air (haa, haa right?).

The fella' I bought the car from did not take care of it for 4 years, the original owners had regular services to 99K in 98 according to the service log in manual booklet (I still have the order form for the factory service manuals too; what a waste). So, it needs work...I've cleaned the whole car w/ a q-tip & logged all problems & potential fubar's, funny what you find when you are curled up in the trunk. The engine, minus the block, is out...nothing left in bay. My intention is to build a sweet N/A car, 150hp will make me very happy. I'm interested in networking to gain some tech advice, find a pair of desirable euro parts (probably have to upgrade to newer front end to gain euro lights), chat about Volvo's and cars, and earn some support. I've owned two other DL's in my time, both wagons, both white, both 84 (pattern behavior sucks). More stories later on...
