AC Woes - 89 744Ti 700 1989

nice.. *sarcastic grin* Looks like I have AC troubles.

start the car after work, no cold air after a few min, knew something must be wrong. pop the hood, compressor is not on. compressor kicks on for a few seconds then kicks back off, engine is taxed each time, then the clutch lets go.

so I looked closer, and I see a little bit of green stuff bubbling out by a metal tube right by the front drivers side compressor mount bolt - the metal tube goes from the back of the compressor and curves down under it.. couldnt see exactly where it was coming from, but green stuff leaking is generally a bad thing.. hehe

ack! is this tube common to fail? indicitive of another problem?
