AC Switch 200

On my 1984 240 sedan the hollow copper wire that runs from the top of the AC switch to the coil and wraps around it broke. Now my AC will not work. Is there any way to repair this or do I have to replace the switch with a new one. If so, how hard is it to replace. Thanks.
