How do you tighten up slipping windsheild wiper arms Help!!!!! 700

Greetings:

Does anyone know how to go about resecuring windshield wiper arms? My motors are very operational, but its just that the arms themselves are slipping. I got caught in a heavy downpour last night (total failure)! They are way off. Is there some method of fixing this, or do i have to pick up some new arms? If so what are the pros/cons of removing/installing these devices? When i remove the wiper arms from the windshield they rotate very well, without any issues, oh and i just replaced the blades too. All my wiper/arms do is attack each other (jam up) and or just stay at the base of the windshield and hop up/down like frogs,PLEASE HELP!!!
