re ignition module posted earlier 700

just bought a 740 noticed that the distributor is fitted in the worse possible place,oh well no contacts, should never need to touch
it
first week engine packed in found to be poor contact in distributer plug'due to water ingress not too bad to get to if you are a double jointed contortionist,
second week engine packed in again. broken trigger wire in distributer,(100 pounds over here)
now i cant even set the distributer- see earlier post
cant get to much on the engine due to the exhaust re-cycling system- is this a waste of space?
going back to my twenty year old 245 never missed a beat in 12 years
