Winter time is almost here, and I need to buy a set of 4 snowtires to replace my 8 year old Gislaved Nordfrost II's. I've been looking at a set of Michelin Arctic Alpin, Pilot Alpin, or Gislaved Nordfrost III's. Does anybody have any opinion as to which tire is most suitable for ice/slushy roads? I live in Vancouver,Canada, and it doesn't snow too much, but the roads can be wet and icy. As I do a lot of highway driving, I found that my all-season's are pretty useless in wintertime.
Has anyone installed PIAA extreme white halogen lamps (Bulb #9004) on their cars. How do they perform?
Thanks,
Adam J
