How's it rolling,

Is it rocket science to replace a valve stem on a 14" steel wheel w/ tubeless tire? There's a cut in the valve stem near where it exits chrome wheel trim ring and loses pressure.

Valve stem is just a "press" fit in rim hole, right? Do I need a special tool to remove it from the rim, maybe just a small scredriver perhaps?

Yank off old stem w/ pliers, install new stem, inflate, roll on?

Sounds easy in principle.
