rear main seal leak after changing back to 10W30! 1990

Seeing the fall/autumn is coming soon to Toronto,changed Mann filter and oil( Formula one 10W40) to Formula one (Can Tire'S Imperial Oil=?ESSO)10W30.Changed flame trap and clean flame trap hose/nipple.
The rear main seal,which has not been leaking for a while in the summer,resumes quarter size leak again.
Time to change back to 10W40,even for winter??
