I have a non-turbo 1990 740GL wagon with 144K. I want to flush and change antifreeze. I keep reading that the thermostat should be changed. I heard they come in two temps. Which one do I need? I'd like to have it when I start. Do I need a new gasket also? Do I have to get them from Volvo? Can I install a flush fitting under the hood like was used many years ago? As you can tell, I haven't done this king of maintenance in years. Thanks in advance.
