I have just bought two good manuals for my Volvos. I bought one for my 1980 242 DL (Haynes). And i just got one for my 1971 164 Friday, 9/27/02 off of E-Bay as well. I paid $14.46 for the 242's and $25.20 for the 164. And the 164's is the green service manual.
I just thought i should let y'all know.
PS i haven't gotten one for my 145 yet, that on the agenda though.
