94' 940 cooling fan and shroud on a 89 740 turbo?

Has anyone done this conversion yet,I was looking under the hood of a 940 today and it looks like the fan and shroud assembly will bolt right on a 740 turbo radiator.I didn't get to get any measurements,any thoughts?
