Lights in Front Seat Receptors? 900 1993

On my 1990 745T, the receptors of the seat belts in the front seats have lights in the red button portion, which make it easy to "aim" at night. My 1993 944T which I bought earlier this year seem to not have them.
Does aynone know if I am supposed to have them -- that is, maybe that the lights are burned out?
