Sunroof - Conversion Electric to Manual 700 1987

Anyone know if it's a do-able conversion from an electric to manual sunroof. Would it be a junk yard swap? I've thought of a permanent hole in the cover and using a screwdriver, but my wife feels a handle would make for a cleaner look.
This is my third Volvo, they're a great driving car, but the electrics are an ongoing challenge.
