1987 745 wagon with 230FT TURBO / just overhauled engine...please know i am a pretty decent mechanic, have done repair work to cars and machinery all my life. But this is a story in the making!
All sugestions heeded and double checked, repalced hall sensor; I did find a broken wire in Hall sensor lead to the distributer, cut leads from my parts car and replaced it with solder conections. replaced power stage, removed and did minor re solder to FUEL PUMP RELAY it had one fish eye,replaced batt cable , fresh charge batt, double checked all grounds, double checked both fuel pumps they both run on jumper,radio supresion relay ok, power to injectors matches batt power, power to both sides of coil. I have ben at this all day, I am chaing my tail! I do have a leak at the gas tank, only seems to leak during pump test but is pretty bad, does not leak during normal start. i am going to repair ..waiting for spiders to die ; sprayed with raid! One was so big it wiggled it's ass like a cat before it jumped at me, car sat behind my barn for the summer.
I am going to make this car run! Just took a break to do this post and visit my old friend Bud..cuz he makes me weiser! Beer was a must after this 2 days!!
