New Car, Bad A/C..... An Entertaining Story 200 1993

Well, I purchased a 93 940 Wagon going on 2 month ago, I know, but there is more traffic on this forum. When I first looked at the car, I noticed some dye on a connection between the compressor and the condenser. I Asked the dealer to take it in, replace the o-ring seal , inspect the joint, and recharge. When I picked the car up the joint was clean so I assumed he took it in, but never asked. Two days later there was a yellow drip on the driveway... dye. I took it into a Firestone MAstercare center... discovered a tech that I actually trust in the process. I had to take it to firestone becasue that is where the dealer originally had the work done. Had it back once, replace o-ring seal, recharge... leaked, took it back, replace O-ring seal, inspect flare for burrs....leaked, starting to lose faith in my new found technition. the dealer Purchased a new hose for me, I actually ordered it from O-Connol Volvo, Scan Tech hose, 90 bucks. Got the hose, took it in, yadda yadda yadda, got the car back yesterday but didnt want to look.. looked today and it is leaking at the crimp on the hose this time. The flare fittings are all fine. Is this bad luck, am I doing something wrong? I called O'connol and he is sendiing out a replacement Volvo hose. Tips, encouragement?

Thanks,

Matt
