Getting Trans. Shifter Out to Fix Reserve Option? 700

My reverse spring or nut broke on my 5 speed transmission shifter level and can't get into reverse now. Does anybody know how to get the transmission shifter level out so I can replace it? I am literally stuck and need to get this darn thing fix. Thanks in advance.
