Had a hot day in October here in Northern cal, and the a/c on my newly-acquired and much beloved 245 is leaving a lot to be desired...not planning to redo the a/c until the valley heat hits next summer, but just wondering what the costs might be? Had the a/c done on our old, huge '86 dodge ram van (also beloved)and it was a whopping $700. Hoping it will be less...any thoughts?

I'm aware that Volvo a/c's seem to be better suited to Sweden than California, and the thing does blow, but blowing lukewarm air.
