Problems with 960's?

A friend of mine is interested in buying a 960 wagon. Uncertain of the year, but probably a '94 or '95. I've had a number of Volvos over the years but never one of these. Are they prone to any particular troubles, tougher to work on, interference engines, etc.? Thanks!!
