'68 122s with non-stock wheels
OK, here it goes again...
I've seen posts that recommend a maximum of 3.25" backspacing.
Here's an article in Vclassics saying 3.5" maximum.
http://www.vclassics.com/archive/wheeltip.htm
Jim Hekker says his 6" wheels have 107mm backspacing (4.21"),
with no bump-steer problems.

I'm not so sure about Jim's measurement because I've got early
Dodge wheels (14 x 6.5 or 7) with 3-7/8" backspacing and my
wheels are rubbing on the engine-side of the wheelwell
(I'm assuming that's bump-steer). Jim - sorry if I got that wrong.
Minilite wheels listed for the 122 are 15x6.5 & 16x5.5, which
I assume is rear & front, but of course no backspacing is listed.

Without paying for high-priced minilites, I'm looking for further
suggestions or experience with wheel sizes & backspacing.
