Power wiring from battery to inside cabin 900

I have recently upgraded my speakers and radio. The problem I am encoutering is that I have also wanted to put some more amps for the inside speakers and for 12 inch bass speakers.

1) Where can I find a hole in the Firewall so I can snake the wiring from the battery to the amps in the trunk?

2) Has anyone tried to drill holes into the plastic cover behind the rear seats so i can mount the amps? Is that a good idea?

I would appreiciate any help and pictures that the board can send. Thank you.
