Brake noise/loud hum upon braking 200

Hey there,

For a while my '92 had been making a loud/annoying hum when the brakes were applied, it stops normally etc. Last night I took the brake pads out and lubricated the shims and associated hardware with brake grease, this worked upon test drive last night, but the sound has returned today after a half a day of use. What do you this is going on? Dangitt if I didn't think I'd licked this thing. Thanks for any help.
