Glowing alternator light 200 1981

Alternator light and to a lesser amount the idiot lights glow when the car is idling. The lights go out when I touch the gas. I do not see any difference, in the glow when I turn on lights and radio. Checked the alternator, looks like a reman. Bosch, 70 amp with the 3 wire plug, brushs look good. Any suggestions. Thanks
