My son yank off the rear view mirror from my 86 240 Station Wagon. The stem that is part of the "ball" that goes into the back of the mirror broke clean. This requires replacing the entire assembly. I ordered the part from the volvo dealer. Does anyone have any tips on removing and replacing this part? The dealer said the station wagon's have a different part. It attaches to the ceiling, I cannot see how the old one comes off.

Thanks, I appreciate any advice.
