timing belt heads up 700

I have a 1989 volvo 780 turbo. Today I pulled off the radiator and belts to get ready to do a timing belt change. Is there anything I should be careful of in particular with this job. Fortunately its a non-interference engine so even a mistake is not terminal with this car. I guess the question I have is the importance of having #1 cylinder at tdc. If the cam in on the 11:30 mark looking from the pulley is #1 cylinder at tdc... Thanks...Leo
