ok regular viewers will be familier with my saga of lost oil ...
well it has a new twist...
to recap, 940T..lost oil (1/2 ltr in 100 miles) - replaced cooler
still lost oil - cleaned flame trap etc replaced breather...loss slowed up
then suddenly lost 1/2 ltr....
re cleaned main breather accross the top of the engine..
slowed up drastically
then did 150 miles and lost 1/3 ltr....
now i seem to have oil in the turbo tubes from the turbo to the IC..
and an amount from the breather tube to the inlet tube to the turbo..
The loss seems to dramaticaly speed up as car speed increases (also on longer - faster - runs could be engine temp related..)
so question is:-
1. How much oil typically goes up the main breather pipe into the inlet tube...
2. If my oil loss is greater than normal up there...why?
3. other theoryies?
4. Suggested objective troubleshooting from here on...
ps...slight weep from cam seal...but not significant....no other visible external weeps...
no smoke...
