Although I've been lurking in this forum for months, this is my first post and I'll try to keep it short. Recently my 240 has been suffering from poor, stumbling acceleration (especially bad when cold). My gas mileage has gone out the window, my temp gauge has been reading sightly higher than normal and it just failed PA emissions (4109ppm NO reading almost 4 times the 1273ppm limit). I took it to the dealer and they put on a new air mass meter and catalytic converter. It still runs just as poorly and failed emissons slightly worse than before! I know my way around my car's engine but felt it was best to let "qualified" people work on getting the emissions end straightened out. I feel like a real sucker now. If anyone's had any experinece with this type of problem I'd appreciate any imput.
